Governance
—  The publisher appoints the Editor-in-Chief, provides financial, technical, and administrative support, approves the journal's policies, and guarantees editorial independence.
—  The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the content, editorial decisions, policies, and ethics of the journal, and appoints and leads the editorial team.
—  Other roles: a Managing Editor for daily operations; Section or Associate Editors who handle manuscripts and make recommendations; an Editorial Board that advises, promotes the journal, and may handle manuscripts or appeals; and a technical team.
—  Terms: the Editor-in-Chief serves four years, renewable once. Editors and board members serve renewable three-year terms. The board is reviewed periodically, and inactive members may be replaced.
—  Names, affiliations, and roles are published on the Editorial Team page, and members must have agreed to serve.
04
Editorial independence
—  Editors alone make decisions, on scholarly merit, fit with the scope, and peer review.
—  The publisher, university leadership, funders, and other parties do not interfere with decisions on individual manuscripts.
—  Submissions from the publisher's staff or students get no preferential treatment and go through the same double-anonymous peer review.
—  The journal monitors the share of articles from the publisher's own institution, so that it does not become mainly an in-house outlet.
—  Article charges and other income are handled separately and do not influence decisions.
05
Funding and advertising
—  DRPM finances the journal. Authors pay an Article Publication Charge only after acceptance, and there is no submission fee. See APC and Journal Subscription.
—  All fees are published before submission.
—  The journal carries no advertising or sponsored content. Any future change would need a separate, published policy, and editorial decisions would stay independent of advertising.
06
Conflicts of interest
All members of the editorial team declare conflicts of interest each year, under the Conflict of Interest Policy.
07
Contact and complaints
—  Contact: humaniora@uny.ac.id. See also the Contact page.
—  Complaints about management, processes, or staff go to the Editor-in-Chief through the website. They are acknowledged within 7 working days and answered within 30 days.
—  Complaints about the Editor-in-Chief go to a senior board member or to the publisher. A complaint that is not resolved may be referred to COPE.
