Improving reading comprehension learning for students with learning disabilities through know-want-learned strategy

Abstract
Reading comprehension is a skill that needs to be mastered, through reading comprehension individuals are able to understand the context and message through reading. Therefore, it is important to master reading comprehension skills for students with learning disabilities. This research aims to improve reading comprehension learning for students with learning disabilities through Know-Want-Learned (KWL) strategy. This research involved 3 experts to validate the instrument and 8 students with learning disabilities to read comprehension. This study used a pre-experimental design research method using one-group pre-test post-test design. The data analysis technique used in this study used nonparametric statistics Wilcoxon test to test the hypothesis.
