Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh apa peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya metode tutor teman sebaya dengan membandingkan menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang sebelumnya menggunakan metode ceramah pada mata pelajaran Pekerjaan Dasar Otomotif (PDO) diterapkan pada kelas X TKRO di SMK Negeri 1 Seyegan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan mengadopsi metode pembelajaran tutor teman sebaya pada siswa kelas X TKRO dan dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Seyegan. Penelitian ini mengamati variabel berupa hasil belajar siswa yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini mendapati hasil bahwa penerapan pembelajaran menggunakan metode tutor teman sebaya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X TKRO pada mata pelajaran Pekerjaan Dasar Otomotif (PDO). Dengan Hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan metode tutor sebaya dapat meningkat sebesar 54,78% dari metode yang di terapkan oleh guru sebelumnya dengan metode ceramah. Lalu pada siklus kedua, hasil pembelajaran peserta didik sudah meningkat melebihi 85%. Ini menunjukkan jika penelitian ini sukses sehingga siklus diberhentikan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the extent of improving student learning outcomes after the application of the peer tutor method by comparing using a learning method that previously used the lecture method in the automotive basic work (PDO) lesson pata applied to class X TKRO at SMK Negeri 1 Seyegan. This research is aclass action research (PTK) by adopting the peer tutor learning method in class X TKRO students and was carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Seyegan. This study observed variables in the form of student learning outcomes which were then analyzed descriptively quantitatively. This study found the results that the application of learning using the peer tutor method can improve the learning outcomes of class X TKRO students in automotive basic work (PDO) subjects. With student learning outcomes after using the tutor method, itcan increase by 54.78% from the method applied by the previous teacher with the lecture method. Then in the second cycle, student learning outcomes have increased by more than 85%. This suggests if the study is successful so that the cycle is dismissed.
