PERDEBATAN IDEOLOGI PENDIDIKAN
Abstract
Abstract: Debates on Educational Ideologies. The study of educational ideologies
derives from perspective debates between the formal system perspective and the
process perspective. The formal educational ideology has applied the general
philosophical system since 1950, whereas the process or problematic perspective
using the semantic, rational, and empirical methods has refused the former since
1960. Today, this dispute is still going on. Based on O’Neill’s taxonomy, the
educational ideology in Indonesia can be classified as a conservative social
revisionist ideology or liberal compromise ideology.
