About the Journal

Jurnal Ilmiah WUNY (Printed-ISSN : 0126 - 3854, Online-ISSN:2747-0547) published by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta is an academic journal, publishes manuscripts manuscripts focusing on Digital Pedagogy & Cultural Preservation. The journal engages theoretical and empirical research at the intersection of educational technology and Indonesian cultural heritage preservation, tackled from a multidisciplinary perspective. We welcome studies on the development of digital platforms for traditional cultural learning, gamification methods for regional language preservation, virtual reality applications in local history and archaeological education, social media as cultural education tools for Generation Z, and innovative approaches to integrating modern pedagogical technologies with indigenous knowledge systems. The journal also features case studies focusing on practical implementations of digital tools in cultural education settings, as well as papers exploring the role of technology in sustaining intergenerational knowledge transfer within Indonesia's diverse cultural landscape. WUNY is published twice a year, in March and September.
