Journal of Science Education Research (J. Sc. Edu. Research) is  to provide a forum for the sharing, dissemination, and discussion of research, experience and perspectives across a wide range of education, teaching, development, instruction, evaluation and assessment, educational media, educational projects and innovations, learning methodologies and new technologies in science education implemented in primary education, secondary education, and tertiary education. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal has been ACCREDITED by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) Managed by Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic Indonesia with Third Grade (Sinta 3) since year 2018.
