About the Journal

JPPM (Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat) (Journal of Education and Community Empowerment) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal published by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, managed by the Department of Nonformal Education, Faculty of Education, in cooperation with IKAPENFI. It publishes research on education for human resources development, community empowerment, social entrepreneurship, and family education through non-formal and informal education.

Sponsorship disclosure

JPPM is published by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in cooperation with IKAPENFI (MoU No. 001/SKK.1/IKAPENFI/2022) and is supervised by Relawan Jurnal Indonesia. It has no commercial sponsor. There is no submission fee; the Article Processing Charge is IDR 2,000,000, with waivers for authors who cannot pay. Fees and partners have no part in editorial decisions. See Author Fees.

History

First published in print in 2014, JPPM moved to Open Journal Systems in 2015, has worked with IKAPENFI since 2017, was accredited SINTA 3 in 2019 and SINTA 2 from 2023, and adopted COPE-aligned policies in 2026. See Journal History.
