About the Journal

JEATech publishes theoretical and practice-oriented articles in the following fields:

All original research and review articles undergo double-anonymous peer review: authors and reviewers do not know each other's identities. Each manuscript is assessed by at least two independent reviewers, and decisions are based only on scholarly merit and fit with the journal's scope. The process follows the COPE Core Practices and Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers.

JEATech is a fully open-access journal. All content is freely available to everyone immediately on publication, without charge to readers or their institutions, in line with the Budapest Open Access Initiative. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, provided that the authors and the original publication are properly credited.

Authors who publish in JEATech retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License, which allows others to share and adapt the work, provided that they credit the authors and the journal and distribute adapted material under the same licence.

Authors may enter into separate arrangements for non-exclusive distribution of the published version (for example, posting it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its first publication in JEATech.

JEATech is owned and published by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, a public, not-for-profit university, and is fully funded by its Faculty of Engineering. The journal is published in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Vocational Educators. Authors pay no submission, review, or publication fees, and no payment can influence editorial decisions. JEATech never asks authors to transfer money; please report any such request to jeatech@uny.ac.id.

JEATech published its first issue (Vol. 1, No. 1) in March 2020 and has appeared twice a year since then. It is indexed in Google Scholar, Indonesia One Search, and Garuda, and is in the process of national accreditation through SINTA.

JEATech's published content is preserved in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and the LOCKSS system, which create permanent, distributed copies of the journal among participating libraries for preservation and restoration. The LOCKSS publisher manifest is available at https://journal.uny.ac.id/index.php/jeatech/gateway/lockss. Every article receives a Crossref DOI (prefix 10.21831), and authors may deposit any version of their work in any repository.

The names and email addresses entered on this journal site are used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
