Focus and Scope
The Journal of Engineering and Applied Technology (JEATech) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published twice a year (March and August) by the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (p-ISSN 2716-2257, e-ISSN 2716-2265).
Aims
JEATech aims to disseminate conceptual ideas and research results in engineering and its applications. The journal provides a forum for researchers, lecturers, practitioners, and students to share innovations that solve real engineering problems and that can be applied in industry, education, and society.

Article Types
Original research articles
Experimental, computational, simulation, design-and-build, or research-and-development studies reporting new data, systems, methods, or prototypes.
Review articles
Systematic or critical reviews of recent developments in a specific engineering topic.
What We Look For
✓
A clear engineering problem and an explicit novelty or contribution.
✓
Methods that can be replicated, with equipment, standards, software, and evaluation metrics described.
✓
Results compared quantitatively with previous studies or benchmarks.
✓
Practical applicability in industry, education, or society.
Manuscripts outside these fields, or that report routine applications without a research contribution, may be declined at initial screening. If you are unsure whether your manuscript fits, contact jeatech@uny.ac.id.
