Abstrak

 

            Longsor lahan merupakan salah satu bentuk bencana alam yang berisiko bagi kehidupan manusia. Dewasa ini di setiap wilayah hampir terjadi perubahan penggunaan lahan yang menuju kondisi yang destruktif. Penggunaaan lahan untuk kepentingan permukiman dan fasilitas hidup masyarakatnya menjadi pendorong utama bencana tersebut terjadi. Perlu diupayakan mitigasi bencana baik secara fisik, sosial, maupun vegetatif. Langkah awal mitigasi yaitu dengan memetakan daerah yang potensial terhadap kejadian tanah longsor lahan. Pemetaan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan spasial melalui proses overlay peta tematik yang diperlukan. Diharapkan pemetaan ini dapat menjadi masukan penting dalam mengurangi risiko bencana akibat longsor lahan.
