Issues
Geo Media publishes two issues a year, in May and November. Each volume covers one year, and each article is published online with a DOI, open access.

Editorial timeline
The editors aim to reach an editorial decision within three months of submission. See the Peer Review Process.

Screening. Manuscripts are checked and selected by the manager and editors, who may accept, reject, or send a manuscript for review. A plagiarism check using Turnitin is applied to each manuscript.

Peer review. At least two reviewers. Single-blind review; authors may request double-blind review during submission.

Decision. The editorial board evaluates the reviewers’ recommendations: accepted, minor revision, major revision, resubmit, or rejected. The final decision is sent to the corresponding author.

Revisions. Authors revise their manuscript within the time stipulated by the editor.

Publication. Accepted articles go through galley proof and are published online with a DOI.
Planning your submission

Prepare the manuscript with the manuscript template and the Author Guidelines before you submit, so that screening does not return it.

Write the manuscript in English. Geo Media accepts manuscripts in English only (effective 1 May 2026).
✓
Respond to revision requests within the time stipulated, so that the article can be published without delay.
✓
Submit through the online submission system.
