Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk budaya sekolah,  implementasi budaya sekolah, dan kendala implementasi budaya sekolah dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa serta solusinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di MAN Kota Batu mulai Juli sampai September 2020. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas Plt. Kepala, Wakil Kepala bidang Kurikulum, guru PPKn, guru Akidah-Akhlak, dan siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 16 budaya sekolah yang diimplementasikan di MAN Kota Batu. Impelementasi budaya sekolah dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa dilakukan melalui tiga aspek, yaitu kegiatan harian, mingguan, dan tahunan dengan berpedoman pada visi dan misi sekolah yang ingin dicapai. Kendala implementasi budaya sekolah dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa di antaranya: (a) karakteristik siswa yang beragam (b) lingkungan yang kurang mendukung, dan (c) kendala yang berasal dari guru. Solusi yang diberikan yaitu melakukan pendekatan khusus kepada siswa, membangun komunikasai dan memberikan pemahaman kepada orang tua, serta membangun komitmen yang kuat untuk keberhasilan pengimplementasi budaya sekolah.
