Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis bagaimana berjalannya tata tertib sekolah yang menghasilkan kedisiplinan siswa SMA Negeri Kebakkramat Karanganyar. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mendapatkan data berupa angka yang dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi etnografi pendidikan. Subjek penelitiannya yaitu wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, wakil kepala sekolah bidang hubungan masyarakat dan siswa kelas 10, 11 dan 12. Pemilihan subjek penelitian melalui teknik random sampling. Instrumen penelitian digunakan untuk mengungkap bentuk dari tata tertib sekolah beserta sanksi yang diberikan atas pelanggaran yang dilakukan, analisis terhadap kedisiplinan siswa melalui banyak atau sedikitnya pelanggaran terhadap beberapa kriteria tata tertib, dan analisis terhadap pemahaman serta harapan siswa terhadap kedisiplinan sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa telah disiplin melihat rendahnya persentase pelanggaran yang dilakukan, sekolah telah menerapkan sistem poin, diberikannya sosialisasi mengenai tata tertib sekolah, hanya sedikit siswa yang melakukan pelanggaran cukup berat dan siswa memahami makna disiplin sehingga dapat menerapkannya dengan baik.
