Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini mengkaji tujuan, konteks, historis, kekuasaan, ideologi, dan politik pitutur luhur budaya Jawa berdasarkan teori analisis wacana. Pembelajaran berdasar teori belajar paikem dengan langkah "˜tandur'. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan bahwa pitutur luhur memengaruhi perilaku peserta didik menjadi lebih berkarakter. Dari aspek konteks, pitutur luhur berhasil membangun konteks yang luas. Dari aspek historis mampu mengembangkan dan melestarikan budaya Jawa di berbagai aspek kehidupan. Dari aspek kekuasaan dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber etika, dan dari aspek politik dapat sebagai strategi dakwah yang mudah diterima sebagai pembangun karakter. Pembelajaran pitutur luhur dilaksanakan secara terpadu dengan menempuh tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Pada tahap pelaksanaan ditempuh enam langkah tandur, yaitu tumbuhkan, alami, namai, demonstrasi, ulangi, dan rayakan. Tahap evaluasi ditempuh teknik penugasan dan pengamatan terhadap perilaku siswa.
