Author Guidelines

GUIDELINES OF ARTICLE SUBMISSION 

 

DIDAKTIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar

 

 

  • The article is an original report of research or a systematical review article (only invitation) about research topic in elementary education.
  • The article is unpublished yet and in process of submitted the other journal. 
  • Never submit another article that in review process by DIDAKTIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar in same time as author or co-author.
  • The submission and publication is free of charge. But we will not give the hardcopy journal. If the author want to order our journal, we will be charged. Booking procedures scripts can contact us at email:didaktika_pgsd@uny.ac.id.  
  • Please write your article in British or American English (not a mixture of both).The article with Indonesian language would be well advised to be able to translate in English. For information services about translator and cost of translate can ask by email: didaktika_pgsd@uny.ac.id. This services does not mean guarantee receipt of the article.
  • Each paragraph is more than two sentences.
  • The article template can be downloaded in https://drive.google.com/file/d/1InYmqDreaJGh0f0RlVyhGwACCZP5RKXp/view or in journal website. 
  • The text written with author’s name “blank name”. If the author’s name is cited, so it is written using the term “Author”. Not permitted to use the name of author in all the text. For that purpose, make the other text/ separate that only write title, author’s name, and affiliation.
  • The title is 10 until 12 words.
  • The abstract is maximum 250 words.
  • Each level of title is formatted as follow:
1stlevel of title:

            BOLD AND EACH WORDS ARE CAPITAL FONT

2nd level of title 

           Bold and Each Word (Except Conjunction) is Started with Capital Font

3rdlevel of title:

Italic and each word (except conjunction) is started with capital font

  • The references are not mention in abstract.
  • The form of title, citation, reference and other details follows APA style 7thedition, as described in Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th edition,available in http://www.apa.org
  • The research by two authors, always enclose the two authors name:

Example: 

Suci and Purnomo (2016)have a notion that...

or, 

... (Suci & Purnomo, 2016)

  • When a citation written by 3, 4, or 5 authors, all the authors name are cited for the first time:

Example:

... (Purnomo, Suryadi, & Darwis, 2016)

For all the next citation, use "et al."

(Purnomo et al., 2016)

  • When a citation has 6 or more authors, use "et al."

(James et al., 2006)

  • References are listed in alphabetic order. Each reference attached is cited in text, and each text citation is listed in reference. The standard form is as follow (APA sixth edition):

  • Suggested to using Mendeley, Zotero, Endnote, and others to arrange the reference.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
 

Copyright Notice

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
