About the Journal

Focus and Scope

DIDAKTIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar is an international, open access, multidisciplinary, double blind peer-reviewed journal that is online publishes two times in a year (June and December). DIDAKTIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasardistributes articles that relate to both metaanalysis (include systematical review) and research and their suggestions for teaching and learning in primary school. Moreover, DIDAKTIKA presents articles that relate the most recent research in teacher education, children development, psychology of learning, inclusion, special education, teaching strategy and innovation, and educational assessment that all related to primary education.

Peer Review Process

Every article that goes to the Editor will be selected through a preliminary review (focus and scope, scientific writing, and methodology) by the Editor-in-Chief. Articles that are considered eligible will be sent to at least two anonymous reviewers and the next selection process using Double-Blind Peer Review. The suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Results of review articles will be returned to the author for revision. The review process takes up to four weeks. Every article that entry will be judged on aspects of research substance, contribution, presentation, and appropriate methodology.

Open Access Policy

DIDAKTIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar adopts open access policy. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles published in DIDAKTIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar are licensed with "Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License". This license entitles all parties to copy, share and redistribute all the articles, data sets, figures, and supplementary files published in this journal in data mining, search engines, websites, blogs, and other digital platforms under the condition of providing references. Open access is an approach that eases interdisciplinary communication and encourages cooperation among different disciplines. DIDAKTIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar, therefore, contributes to its own field by providing more access to its articles and a more transparent review process.

Journal History

DIDAKTIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar was firstly distributed as printing form in 2006. In 2018, it moved to the online form was accessible at https://journal.uny.ac.id/index.php/didaktika/. When the diary begun its online system, one of the challenges is to bring past issues online. Howevera few early articles might not be found for specialized reasons.
