About the Journal

Journal of Medical Science and Sports Health (JoMaSSH) is a peer-reviewed journal published biannually (April and October) by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta and managed by the Faculty of Medicine. It publishes research articles, reviews, and case reports on basic and biomedical medicine, clinical medicine, sports medicine, and public health, focusing on the role of sports and exercise in preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative health.

JoMaSSH also covers studies in supporting fields like epidemiology, disease pathogenesis, organism models, health technology, and the utilization of natural resources. The journal highlights innovations and scientific discoveries across health disciplines, aiming to enhance healthcare quality through integrated knowledge.
