Pemberdayaan Lingkungan: Keterampilan Kecakapan Hidup di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat dalam Pengelolaan Limbah Kayu

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi program pendidikan kecakapan hidup di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Bhina Swakarya, dengan fokus pada pengelolaan limbah kayu, serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan keterampilan dan kualitas hidup peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan logic model, yang terdiri dari empat komponen utama: input, proses, output, dan outcome. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pendidikan kecakapan hidup di PKBM Bhina Swakarya berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan peserta didik dalam mengolah limbah kayu, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap mereka terhadap pengelolaan sumber daya lokal. Outcome jangka panjang mencakup peningkatan kualitas hidup, peningkatan pendapatan, dan kontribusi positif terhadap masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini mengimplikasikan bahwa pendidikan kecakapan hidup yang terintegrasi dengan pengelolaan lingkungan dan pemberdayaan kreatif dapat memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi peserta didik.

Environmental Empowerment: Life Skills in Community Learning Centers in Wood Waste Management
Abstract
This study aims to explore the implementation of life skills education programs at the Bhina Swakarya Community Learning Center (CLC), with a focus on wood waste management and its impact on improving the skills and quality of life of students. The research method used is a qualitative method with a logic model approach, which consists of four main components: input, process, output, and outcome. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the life skills education program at PKBM Bhina Swakarya has successfully improved the skills of participants in processing wood waste, as well as enhancing their knowledge and attitudes toward the management of local resources. Long-term outcomes include improved quality of life, increased income, and positive contributions to the surrounding community. This study implies that life skills education integrated with environmental management and creative empowerment can provide significant benefits for students.
