About the Journal
Aims
Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan IPA aspires to be a leading platform for sharing innovative research in science education, physics education, chemistry education and biology education. The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality research, including empirical studies, theoretical analyses, and research & development projects. These studies should contribute significantly to the improvement of science education at various levels, from secondary to higher education, and in both pre-service and in-service teacher training. JIPI covers a wide range of topics, including curriculum development, teaching strategies, approach and learning model, instructional materials, e-learning, virtual laboratory, local wisdom in education, assessment, and evaluation. The journal aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice by providing data-driven insights and practical pedagogical frameworks. JIPI welcomes submissions from researchers worldwide, particularly those that offer innovative solutions to enhance science education practices, policies, and pedagogy.
Scope
Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan IPA has a clear focus on publishing significant research findings related to the teaching and learning of natural sciences—specifically, biology, physics, and chemistry education. The journal is particularly interested in research that addresses educational practices and innovations at the secondary and higher education levels, and pre-service as well as in-service teacher professional development in these subject areas. Topics of interest include curriculum development, teaching strategies, approach and learning model, instructional materials, e-learning, virtual laboratory, local wisdom in education, assessment, and evaluation. JIPI prioritizes research that makes a meaningful contribution to the current body of knowledge and theory in science education, with a strong emphasis on research that incorporates local wisdom and addresses the unique educational challenges faced by different regions. Peer Review Process

Editors first review the submitted manuscript, called the initial review the editors. It will be desk evaluated whether the submitted manuscript is suitable for the Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan IPA based on focus and scope, similarity score by using Anti-Plagiarism Software, methodological flaw, readability of the articles, and adhering to the submitted paper template.

Furthermore, the manuscript will be sent to at least two anonymous reviewers (Double-Blind Peer-Review).

The anonymous reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses. Afterward, the editorial team meeting suggested the final decision on the revised manuscript by the authors.

Finally, the Editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.

The accepted manuscript then continued to the copyediting and layout editing process to prepare the camera-ready paper
Publication Frequency
The journal is published twice a year, April and October.

This journal is an open-access journal that provides immediate, worldwide, barrier-free access to the full text of all published articles without charge readers or their institutions for access. Readers have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles in the Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan IPA (JIPI). This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
