Literasi Digital Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan IPS FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya

Literasi digital merupakan kemampuan yang diperlukan di era internet saat ini. Terutama penggunaannya yang semakin meningkat di masa Pandemi Covid-19. Untuk mengetahui tingkat literasi mahasiswa Jurusan P. IPS, FKIP-UNSRI perlu dilakukan penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Adapun populasi penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa di Jurusan P. IPS, FKIP-UNSRI yang terdiri dari tiga program studi (Prodi) yaitu Pendidikan Sejarah, Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dan Pendidikan Ekonomi yang berjumlah 857 mahasiswa dari angkatan 2014-2020. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling, dengan hasil sebanyak 555 mahasiswa yang mengisi angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital mahasiswa yang diukur menggunakan aspek literasi digital Bawden yaitu kemampuan dasar literasi mahasiswa sebesar 92,5% (sangat baik); latar belakang pengetahuan sebesar 82,5% (baik); kompetensi utama literasi digital sebesar 71,63% (baik) dan sikap dan perspektif informasi sebesar 95,87% (sangat baik). Hasil ini menunjukkan jika literasi digital pada empat aspek yang diukur sudah baik.

Digital literacy is a skill that is needed in today's internet era. Especially its use which is increasing during the Covid-19 Pandemic. To find out the literacy level of students of the P. IPS Department, FKIP-UNSRI needs to be conducted research. This study used a survey method with a descriptive approach. The population of this study were students in the P. IPS Department, FKIP-UNSRI which consisted of three study programs (Prodi) namely History Education, Pancasila Education and Citizenship and Economic Education, totaling 857 students from the 2014-2020 class. Sampling was done by random sampling, with the result that 555 students filled out a questionnaire. The results showed that the digital literacy of students measured using aspects of Bawden's digital literacy, namely the basic literacy skills of students of 92.5% (very good); background knowledge of 82.5% (good); the main competence of digital literacy is 71.63% (good) and attitudes and information perspectives of 95.87% (very good). These results indicate that digital literacy in the four measured aspects is good.
