Peningkatan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Pembelajaran Biologi Melalui Implementasi Model Numbered Head Together pada Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses implementasi model Cooperative Learning tipe NHT, mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar aspek kognitif melalui implementasi model Cooperative Learning tipe NHT pada materi pokok jaringan hewan kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA5 SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian adalah implementasi model Cooperative Learning tipe NHT sesuai dengan sintaks yang diacu, aktivitas siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran mampu mencapai kategori baik untuk semua aspek penilaian, dan persentase hasil belajar aspek kognitif siswa mampu mencapai nilai gain berkategori sedang yaitu 0,30 < g ≤ 0,70. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal pretest dan posttest , lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, serta lembar observasi keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model Cooperative Learning tipe NHT sesuai sintaks yang diacu yaitu meliputi penomoran (numbering ), pemberian pertanyaan (questioning ), diskusi (head together ), dan menjawab pertanyaan (answering ). Peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II adalah 0,28 dan 0,43. Untuk aktivitas siswa pada siklus I dan II mencapai 71,43% dan 80,52%.Kata kunci: model cooperative learning, NHT, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar aspek kognitif
