Pengembangan LKPD IPA berbasis keterampilan proses untuk meningkatkan sikap ilmiah dan minat siswa SMP

Abstract


Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik  (LKPD) IPA kelas VII SMP yang berbasis keterampilan proses; (2) mengetahui kelayakan LKPD IPA kelas VII SMP yang berbasis keterampilan proses; dan (3) mengetahui apakah penggunaan LKPD IPA kelas VII SMP berbasis keterampilan proses dapat meningkatkan sikap ilmiah dan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini mengacu pada model Research and Development (R&D) yang dikembangkan Thiagarajan, namun pada penelitian ini hanya dilakukan tahap pendefinisisan, perancangan, dan pengembangan. Subjek coba pada penelitian ini adalah 41 siswa SMP N 1 Batulicin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, angket, observasi, dan tes (pretest dan posttest). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) LKPD yang dikembangkan berkategori sangat baik jika ditinjau dari kualitas materi, kualitas penyajian, kualitas kebahasaan dan kualitas kegrafikaan menurut ahli; (2)  respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD yang dikembangkan berkategori sangat baik; (3) pembelajaran dengan LKPD yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan sikap ilmiah dan minat belajar IPA siswa.

The Depelopment LKPD About Science Based on Process Skill to Improve Scientific Attitude and Interest for Students Grade VII

 

Abstract

The aims of development research was: 1) to develop LKPD which based on process skill for students grade VII, 2) to know the quality of the developed LKPD, and 3) to know how LKPD can improve scientific attitude and interest of learning. This research can be categorized as Research and Development (R&D) referring to 4 steps developed by Thiagarajan, but this research was conducted covering only define, design, develop steps. The subjects of this research were 41 students of SMP N 1 Batulicin . Data were collected by means of interview, quality of questionnaires, observation, and tests (pre-test and post-test). The results showed that:(1) the developed LKPD based quality of material, presentation, language and  graph have a very good quality, 2) students give very good responses, 3) the lesson by LKPD could improve students scientific attitude and interest of learning.
