Author Fees & Publication Policy

Jurnal Pendidikan Anak • Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Principles of Transparency

Jurnal Pendidikan Anak charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for manuscripts that are officially accepted for publication. The APC directly supports editorial operations, anonymous review peer review administration, copyediting, digital archiving, DOI registration, and continuous open-access hosting.

1. Submission Fee (IDR 0.00 / Free)

The journal does not charge any submission fee. Authors are not required to pay any fee at the time of manuscript submission.

2. Article Processing Charge (APC)

If a manuscript is accepted after external review and editorial assessment, the applicable APC is as follows:

*Payment details and institutional invoice instructions will be provided directly alongside the formal Letter of Acceptance (LoA).

3. Waiver Policy

Jurnal Pendidikan Anak believes that financial constraints should not prevent the publication of worthy research. Partial or full fee waivers may be granted to:

  • Corresponding authors residing in low- or lower-middle-income economies (classified by the World Bank).
  • Undergraduate/graduate students and early-career researchers conducting self-funded research.
  • Authors who demonstrate genuine financial hardship without grant support.

Application Procedure: Waiver requests must be submitted during initial manuscript submission (in the "Comments for the Editor" box) or emailed to the Editor-in-Chief prior to the completion of peer review.

4. Editorial Independence & Quality Guarantee

In accordance with COPE Core Practices, editorial decisions are entirely separate from fee payments or waiver considerations. Peer reviewers and editors evaluate manuscripts solely on intellectual content, methodological rigor, and relevance to early childhood education, without access to authors' payment or waiver details.
