Abstract
The implementation of the independent curriculum (IKM) allows for potential obstacles in learning. Therefore, this research aims to find out the IKM, find out the obstacles, and find out the efforts to deal with IKM obstacles in intracurricular learning of vocational content at SMK Muhammadiyah Pakem. This research uses a concurrent mixed-method approach. Research data were obtained through questionnaires to 165 students, questionnaires and documentation to 18 teachers, and interviews to 5 teachers. Instrument validity used professional judgement method and reliability estimation using Cronbach's Alpha formula. Data analysis used descriptive statistical techniques and thematic techniques. The results of this study show that the aspects of learning in IKM get a good category, there are five obstacles, which are students are not ready to learn independently, low enthusiasm for learning students, teachers need time to adapt, the teacher's mindset has not been built, and the lack of teacher understanding of the independent curriculum, and there are five efforts, which are optimizing facilities from the government, optimizing facilities from schools, discussions with peer teachers, learning independently, and improving classroom conditioning. Based on these results, learning aspects need to be improved so that the implementation of the independent curriculum can be carried out more optimally.

Abstrak
Implementasi kurikulum merdeka (IKM) memungkinkan adanya potensi kendala dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui IKM, mengetahui kendala, dan mengetahui upaya menghadapi kendala IKM dalam pembelajaran intrakurikuler muatan kejuruan di SMK Muhammadiyah Pakem. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method model concurrent. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui kuesioner terhadap 165 siswa, kuesioner dan dokumentasi terhadap 18 guru, serta wawancara terhadap 5 guru. Validitas instrumen menggunakan metode professional judgement dan estimasi reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan teknik tematik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aspek-aspek pembelajaran pada IKM mendapatkan kategori baik, terdapat lima kendala yaitu peserta didik belum siap belajar secara mandiri, antusiasme belajar peserta didik rendah, guru perlu waktu untuk beradaptasi, mindset guru belum terbangun, dan kurangnya pemahaman guru mengenai kurikulum merdeka, serta terdapat lima upaya yaitu optimalisasi fasilitas dari pemerintah, optimalisasi fasilitas dari sekolah, diskusi dengan guru sejawat, belajar secara mandiri, dan meningkatkan pengondisian kelas. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, aspek-aspek pembelajaran perlu ditingkatkan lagi agar implementasi kurikulum merdeka dapat terlaksana lebih optimal.
