Social capital plays an important role in supporting entrepreneurial activities and community empowerment. However, studies examining the relationship between social capital strength and social entrepreneurship among creative economy entrepreneurs remain limited. This study aims to analyze the level of social capital strength, the level of social entrepreneurship, and the relationship between the two variables among entrepreneurs participating in Rumah Kreatif Coey, Indonesia. A quantitative approach supported by qualitative data was employed. Data were collected from 45 culinary entrepreneurs through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Descriptive statistics and Spearman Rank Correlation were used to analyze the data. The results show that both social capital strength and social entrepreneurship were generally at moderate to high levels. No significant relationship was found between entrepreneurs’ characteristics and either social capital strength or social entrepreneurship. However, social capital strength was positively and significantly associated with social entrepreneurship. Among the dimensions of social capital, linking social capital demonstrated the strongest relationship with social entrepreneurship. These findings suggest that strengthening trust, social networks, and institutional linkages can enhance social entrepreneurship among creative economy entrepreneurs and contribute to community empowerment initiatives.
