Publication Ethics

Integrity, fairness, and responsibility in scholarly publishing.

This statement outlines the publication ethics of Jurnal Pendidikan Akuntansi Indonesia (JPAI), published by the Accounting Education Study Program. Adapted from the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), it sets out the ethical responsibilities of the Editor-in-Chief, editorial board members, reviewers, and authors.

Articles published in JPAI contribute to a coherent and respected body of knowledge in accounting education and reflect the quality of their authors and institutions. Ethical standards are therefore essential for everyone involved in publication, including authors, editors, reviewers, the publisher, and the wider scholarly community.

Fair and Objective Evaluation

JPAI’s editors are committed to an objective and intellectually rigorous publication process. Editors and reviewers evaluate manuscripts without discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political and group affiliations.
