This paper is primarily intended to further examine the performance of District Education Office and cities after the implementation of regional autonomy. Role Diknas County / city becomes larger. Duties and functions of this office is to determine the "˜fate' education in their area. With the duties and functions of school as the education provider directly, then the Disctrict Education office/town is the manager or coordinator of educational instutions in the area concerned.
