PENGUKURAN EFISIENSI SEKOLAH DALAM PENELITIAN EVALUASI: KONSEP, OPERASIONALISASI, DAN HAMBATAW-HAMBATANNYA
Abstract
Formerly there are separated concepts, of evaluation and research. Nowadays these concepts mixed as new research method called evaluation research. Evaluation and evaluation research both can be used to measure the quality of educational improvement of schools. In their administration to measure the quality of education, although there are differences among them, both use the same basis of measurement, i.e. the joncept of efficiency. Unfortunately, in fact this concepts is more economically based than educationally based (the effective school and the quality school are the examples of educationally based concepts). There are several economic approaches to be used in measuring school efficiency. To implementing this concept of efficiency through evaluation research, the concept has to be defined operationally in relation with the constraints usually faced in the field.
