Abstract

Education carries out to prepare the young generation to perform their role smartly in the future. In the meantime, future is dynamic, even unpredictable, chaotic, or uncertainty. So, Indonesia education program improvement should consider turbulence of the future, in order this nation and state doesn't left behind among other countries. In this case, luturology as emerging discipline is very prospective to be applied in the educational planning. Futurology of education means inter-and-multidiscipline studies, utilize methods and techniques to predict future of education and its impact or implications. Because of that, futurology is useful to improve quality of educational programs. Through strategic planning of educational development, futurolooy pro\ ites analytical tools as strategies and techniques to explore the future. Thus, Educational Administration or Educational Management should pay attention seriously to the futurology because insight and knowledge of the future is importance to improve ^vpicity of educational system.
