Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Pendidikan, with ISSN: 1979-9594, was first published in 2008 by the Faculty of Education of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FIP UNY) and since then regularly published twice (2x) annually in March and September. Starting from September 2015 until now, Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Pendidikan was publish online. Starting from September 2016 it is assigned Electronic ISSN: 2541-5492.
