Abstract: The amount of Willingness to Pay (WTP) is useful as a consideration for policy decision. This study aims to obtain WTP of Faculty of Economics’s students for reducing property crime and non-property crime on campus and to explore campus security from 300 student samples through purposive proportional sampling in Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) campus. Utilizing Contingent Valuation Method, this research is carried out to obtain the ability to pay the respondents. The econometric approach and descriptive statistical analysis is carried out to achieve the purpose. On the average, the student’s WTP is Rp106,400 where the students of the P.ADP study program has the largest one. Various factors that influence the level of WTP are family income and education level of the head of the family, the status of victims and criminals if carried out by employees, physical damage, and the level of obedience when the costs of crime become tax and concrete actions to anticipate crime. This means that students have a high commitment to provide the fund for reducing the crime in UNY campus.
