Abstract
This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of an Android-based mobile-learning module to improve digital literacy for junior high school students. The development of mobile-learning module teaching materials is based on the need for appropriate teaching materials for 21-st century learning which identically utilize technology, information, and communication. The Android-based mobile-learning module is a digital module packaged in an interactive Android application system. The method used in this research is the ADDIE model development design which consists of five stages, namely analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that (1) the percentage of validity of the Android-based mobile-learning module was 91% obtained from an average of three validators, (2) the percentage of the practicality of the Android-based mobile-learning module was 96.8%, (3) the effectiveness score of the Android-based mobile-learning module is 0.45 which is obtained from the N-gain test and 97% from students response questionnaire so that it can be concluded that the Android-based mobile-learning module is valid, practical and effective to improve the digital literacy of junior high school students.
