Pembelajaran ethnosciences di era revolusi industri 4.0 sebagai pemacu Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)

Abstract
Pembelajaran di era industri 4.0 menuntut siswa agar mampu memiliki ketrampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, komunikatif, dan kolaboratif dalam perilaku hidup sehari-hari. Keempat kemampuan tersebut membutuhkan proses berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) yang menjadi bagian dari ketrampilan abad ke-21. Ketrampilan abad ke-21 ini membutuhkan adanya proses berlatih yang teratur dengan materi yang kontekstual. Pembelajaran yang mengajak siswa belajar dari kondisi real di lingkungan dan diajak untuk mampu menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi. Penelitian ini bersifat library research dengan metode analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Tahapan penelitian diawali dengan mengumpulkan artikel ilmiah yang relevan berdasarkan kedekatan topik yang terbita dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun terakhir yang selanjutnya akan dikaji dan dianalisis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengupas tentang pembelajaran etnosains dalam kaitannya untuk melatihkan ketrampilan berpikir tingkkat tinggi pada peserta didik. Hasil kajian literasi diperoleh bahwa etnosains sangat sesuai diterapkan di era revolusi industri 4.0 yang harus menghasilkan pembelajaran yang bermakna dan memfasilitasi siswa untuk mengkonstruksi pengetahuan mereka dengan tetap mengkaji budaya masyarakat yang bersifat ilmiah. Etnosains dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi untuk sukses menghadapi kemajuan dunia di abad ke-21.
Abstract
Learning in the industrial era 4.0 requires students to have critical, creative, communicative, and collaborative thinking skills in their daily life behavior. These four skills are skills that need higher-order thinking processes (HOTS) which are part of 21st-century skills. These 21st-century skills require regular practice processes with contextual material. Learning invites students to learn from actual conditions in the environment and is invited to be able to solve problems that occur. This research is library research with a descriptive qualitative analysis method. The research stage begins with collecting relevant scientific articles based on the proximity of the topics published in the last ten years, which will then be studied and analyzed. This study aims to explore ethnoscience learning about practicing high-level thinking skills in students. The results of the literacy study show that ethnoscience is very suitable to be applied in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, which must produce meaningful learning and facilitate students to construct their knowledge while still studying the scientific culture of society. Ethnoscience can improve higher-order thinking skills to successfully face the progress of the world in the 21st century.
