PROSES PEMBELAJARAN MATA KULIAH PRAKTIKUM BIDANG FASHION PADA MASA PANDEMI DI UNIVERSITAS SURABAYA

Abstract


Dampak pandemi memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap perubahan-perubahan baru terhadap pelaksanaan pendidikan di Indonesia, baik pembelajaran teori maupun praktik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan proses pembelajaran matakuliah praktikum pada masa pandemi di bidang fashion. Menggunakan pedekatan kualitatif dengan pengabilan data menggunakan observasi, penelitian ini mengamati dua matakuliah praktikum yang berbeda yang mahasiswanya juga berbeda angkatan yaitu angkatan 2020 dan 2017. Indikator observasi fokus pada proses pembelajaran dan hasil praktikum yang dilakukan secara online. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk matakuliah praktikum di bidang fashion selama masa pendemi hendaknya menyesuaikan dengan karakter mahasiswa dalam kelas. Perubahan strategi pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan segera untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diinginkan sesuai RPS. Komunikasi sangat penting dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dari mahasiswa dengan menggunakan media apapun. Media pembelajaran sebaiknya dibuat sendiri oleh dosen pengampuhnya yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa. Sementara, hasil praktikum mahasiswa secara online dipengaruhi oleh media pembelajaran dan strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh dosennya
