Abstract

Tolerance attitude is very important in Javanese culture. Majority of Javanese people need of harmony life for get the social idealism, namely tata titi tentrem. One of the Javanese people attitude reflected in the tarditional verbal-expression tepa salira, and empan papan. The several traditional ver­bal-expressions others, have meaning to educate likely bener ning ora penet; ngono ya ngono ning aja ngono, and prohibition; for example aja gampang matertah, aja srei-drengki jail-methakil, etc.
