This study aims to: (1) develop Adobe Animate-based learning media on the topics of vibrations, waves, and light for eighth-grade junior high school/MTs students; (2) determine the feasibility level of the developed media; and (3) examine the effectiveness of the media in improving students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Alessi and Trollip development model, which includes the stages of planning, design, and development. The testing process was conducted through alpha and beta testing. The alpha test involved two subject matter experts and two media experts, while the beta test was carried out in small and large groups consisting of 21 students in the experimental class and 21 students in the control class at MTs Anwar Futuhiyyah. Data collection techniques included interviews, validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, learning outcome tests, and learning motivation questionnaires. The results showed that the Adobe Animate-based learning media was categorized as highly feasible, with an average score of 3.85 from subject matter experts and 3.76 from media experts. In addition, the developed media proved effective in improving students’ motivation and learning outcomes. Therefore, Adobe Animate-based learning media can be utilized as an interactive and innovative learning resource in science education, particularly on the topics of vibrations, waves, and light for eighth-grade junior high school/MTs students.
