Water rescue di desa wisata Siblarak untuk meningkatkan keselamatan pengunjung berbasis kolaborasi dan inovasi

Keselamatan pengunjung pada kawasan wisata air memerlukan kesiapsiagaan sumber daya manusia dalam menghadapi kondisi darurat guna meminimalkan risiko kecelakaan. Wisata Siblarak di Desa Sidowayah, Kecamatan Polanharjo, Kabupaten Klaten merupakan destinasi wisata air yang memiliki potensi lokal tinggi, namun kapasitas masyarakat dalam aspek keselamatan wisata masih belum optimal. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat melalui pelatihan water rescue berbasis kolaborasi dan inovasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama enam bulan dengan melibatkan 25 peserta yang terdiri atas penjaga Umbul Siblarak, Umbul Kemanten, dan Janti Park, serta melibatkan BUMDES Kabupaten Klaten dan POKDARWIS Desa Sidowayah. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui ceramah, diskusi, praktik, pendampingan, serta evaluasi menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test. Materi pelatihan meliputi teknik dasar water rescue, water trappen, teknik penyelamatan korban di air, penggunaan alat keselamatan, dan cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terkait konsep water rescue, dimana sebanyak 72% peserta belum memahami konsep water rescue sebelum pelatihan, sedangkan setelah pelatihan seluruh peserta (100%) telah memahami konsep tersebut. Selain itu, sebanyak 20 peserta berhasil mempraktikkan seluruh teknik penyelamatan air yang diberikan. Pelatihan water rescue terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi masyarakat dalam mitigasi risiko kecelakaan serta memperkuat budaya keselamatan pada kawasan wisata air Desa Siblarak.
