Jurnal Economia (JECO) was first published in August 2004 by the Economic Studies Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics, Yogyakarta State University. Since this faculty was established into two faculties namely Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS) and Faculty of Economics (FE) in 2012, JECO was managed by Faculty of Economics UNY.
JECO was the first journal in UNY that was indexed by Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) on 5 January 2016.
JECO has been ACCREDITED at:
- rank 3rd (Sinta 3) by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia according to the Decree (SK) No. 21/E/KPT/2018, in 9 July 2018. It is valid from Vol. 12 No. 1 (2016) based on this certificate below:
- rank 2rd (Sinta 2) by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia according to the Decree (SK) No. 34/E/KPT/2018, in 14 December 2018. It is valid from Vol. 14 No. 1 (2018) until Vol. 18 No. 1 (2022) based on this certificate below:
