Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perwujudan budaya masyarakat Sasak dalam novel-novel karya Salman Faris.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode konten analisis atau analisis isi yang menemukan, mendeskripsikan, menganalisis, dan mendapatkan data secara empiris dalam novel-novel karya Salman Faris. Objek penelitian ini adalah novel Perempuan Rusuk Dua, Guru Onyeh dan Guru Dane. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik dokumenter yaitu dengan cara melihat atau mengamati, melakukan pencatatan yang sistematis, dan mencari sumber atau referensi. Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut. Wujud budaya masyarakat Sasak dalam novel-novel karya Salman Faris terdiri dari delapan aspek, yaitu: 1) agama dan sistem kepercayaan masyarakat suku Sasak, 2) bahasa masyarakat suku Sasak, 3) sistem pengetahuan masyarakat suku Sasak, 4) sistem peralatan dan teknologi masyarakat suku Sasak, 5) sistem organisasi masyarakat suku Sasak, 6) sistem mata pencaharian hidup masyarakat suku Sasak, 7) tradisi/adat-istiadat masyarakat suku Sasak, dan 8) kesenian masyarakat suku Sasak.
Realization cultural of Sasak people in Salman Faris' novels
Abstract: This study aims to describe the cultural of Sasak people in Salman Faris' novels. This research is a qualitative study using content analysis that locates, describes, analyzes, and obtains empirical data in the novels by Salman Faris. The objects of this study were novel Perempuan Rusuk Dua, Guru Onyeh, and Guru Dane. Data in this study were collected using documentation by seeing or observing, doing the systematic recording, and looking for a source or reference. The results of this study are as follows. The form of Sasak cultures in the to novels by Salman Faris consists of eight: (1) religion and belief system of Sasak society, (2) the language of Sasak society, (3) Sasak community knowledge systems, (4) systems of equipment and technology of Sasak community, (5) Sasak community organization systems, (6) livelihood systems of Sasak's life, (7) traditions/customs of Sasak society, and (8) Sasak community arts.
