  3. The article should be written based on the results of research or scientific studies (non-research) in the field of arts or arts education, including performing arts (dance/music/theater), and fine arts. 6. The title of the article is short and concise according to the content and a maximum of fifteen words.
  7. The author’s name (without an academic degree) is placed under the title of the article. Underneath, place the author’s institution, and address (including e-mail address or phone number). If the article is written by a team, all the team members' names must be written. However, the editor only corresponds to the primary author or the author whose name is placed in the first line.
  8. The abstract should be written in a single paragraph, 150-200 words, highlighting the key messages from the research, like research goals, methods, and findings, and showing how the paper contributes to the field of education as a whole. Keywords should be written under the abstract and reflect the paper's substance as mentioned in the title. The format of the writing of the abstract and keywords and the body of the article must follow the template.
  9. The introduction should consist of the background of the study, research contexts, literature review, and research objectives. The introduction is approximately 20% of the body of the article. The font used is Times New Roman size 11.
  10. The method section consists of a description concerning the research design, research site and participants or documents, data collection, and data analysis with a proportion of 10-15% of the total article length.
  11. The findings and discussion section consists of a description of the data analysis results to answer the research question(s) and their meanings seen from current theories and references of the area addressed. The proportion of this section is 40-60% of the total article length.
  12. The conclusion consists of the main findings' summary, restatement, and implication(s).
  13. Every source cited in the body of the article should appear in the references, and all sources appearing in the reference should be cited in the body of the article. The use of referencing tools (for example Mendeley and Zotero) is highly recommended.
  14. Quotations, citations, tables, figures, and references must comply with the APA 7th citation style. Citation is done using brackets (last name and year of publication). The page number is included when the sources are cited verbatim (p. 78 or pp. 78-89).
  15. The sources cited should be primary sources in the form of reputable journal articles (strongly recommended), books, and research reports, including theses and dissertations. Citations from a journal should be at least 60% of the total references cited.
  16. Manuscripts may be submitted in English or Indonesian. Indonesian manuscripts that have been accepted and will be published by Imaji must be translated into English. The translation can be done by the author himself (by showing proof of proofreading from a credible institution or person) or can be done by the Imaji team with a mechanism that will be notified later.
