Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

General Guideline

  • Article has never been published before.
  • Result-based research is prioritized for publication.
  • The article consists of 10-15 pages or consists of 4000-7000 characters, and it must be written in A4 paper, Times New Roman 12, and single space.
  • The Article must be written in Microsoft Word.
  • The article has no typos.
  • The article has no plagiarism.
  • The article is written in the form of essay in which it has no dot points and numbering.
  • It does not use footnote or endnote, but running note, and using APA (American Psychological Association).

Title

  • Title is written in dual languages; those are Bahasa Indonesia, and English.
  • Title is written in upper and lowercase letters centered in the upper half of the page.
  • The title in Bahasa Indonesia must not exceed 13 words; whereas, the title in English must not exceed 13 words and should not contain abbreviations or words that serve no purpose.
  • The title must mention the results of the study.
  • There must be no subheading and title may take up one or two lines.
  • The title is written in Times New Roman 12, Bold, center.
  • The initial letter of every word in the title must be capitalized. 

Name of author and institution of author

  • The author’s name is completely written without academic title or indication of position and stratification.
  • The author can be an individual or a team. All the author should be list.
  • Write author(s)’s institutional affiliation and email address below the title.

Abstract

  • Abstract is written in dual languages; those are Bahasa Indonesia, and English.
  • Abstract must be written between 150 – 200 words in English, and 150 – 300 words in Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Abstract must be written in one paragraph only encompassing background, purpose of the study, methods, results, and conclusion.

Keyword

  • Keyword must be written in dual languages; those are Bahasa Indonesia, and English.
  • Write words or terms that reflect the concept within the articles.
  • It may consist of several words/term.
  • Keywords are written under the abstract with a distance of one line and are italicized.

Introduction

  • Introduction consists of background, purpose of the study, and research urgency.
  • Statement of the problem and/ or hypothesis must not be written in the form of subheading but research question which is integrated in paragraph, part of the introduction.

Methods

  • Practical methods.
  • It consists of research type/approach, location, population and sample, sampling drawing techniques, data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques.

Results of the study

  • All tables, graphics, and figures are thoroughly discussed, placed in the center, and appropriate interpretation are highly desirable (description is not repetitive from tables, graphics, and figures).
  • Tables use three horizontal lines, size of table and illustrations should be adjusted to the size of the paper.
  • Tables and graphics are made in the format of MS Word/Excel.
  • Every table consists of table number and table title written above the table.

Conclusion

  • Conclusion does not repeat what has been discussed in results section.

References

  • References written must be cited in writing.
  • Book citation is at least from last 10-year publication, whereas, for journals, it is at least from last 5-year publication.
  • Using APA style.
  • use Reference Management Software

Authorship

  • Filling in the statement form of responsibility upon all content of the article.
  • Signing the statement that the article is not being proposed to another journal and it will not be submitted to another journal during the editing and reviewing process by JPIP.
  • Signing the statement of plagiarism free.
  • Editorial staff has the right to edit the article without changing the content and the main idea of the author.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
