Abstract

The use of technology in learning can help improve the effectiveness of learning. Technology can be utilised to create interesting learning media so that the achievement of learning objectives is more effective. Artifical Intelligence (AI) is one form of technology that can help teachers to produce interesting learning media. Some of the problems faced by teachers in creating AI-based learning media include a lack of technology skills and difficulties in presenting material with interesting and interactive media. Problems with AI skills and creating interesting media are also experienced by Ma'arif Vocational School teachers in Yogyakarta Special Region Province. Based on preliminary information obtained from SMK Ma'arif teachers, one of the causes of the problem of low teacher skills in utilising AI for learning media is limited training and assistance for teachers. Therefore, training and mentoring activities that provide an introduction to AI to teachers are needed to increase teachers' knowledge of AI and its use in learning activities. Furthermore, this activity provides training and mentoring to teachers to improve teachers' skills in developing AI-based learning media.
