Literature and Literacy (Lit&Lit) is a journal of studies in and about the literary community; published as a high-quality open-access journal. Literature and Literacy is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to the best new criticism and theory in the study of literature. Our mission is to publish various research articles on literary research and literary literacy, covering all genres of regional, local, national, and international literature with various approaches. The area of study includes modern, contemporary, classical, and children's literature, as well as literary literacy.
Literature and Literacy is bi-annually published in April and October.
Literature and Literacy Journal aims to share and circulate articles related to various literary studies and literary literacy for an extensive readership. The scope of the journal comprises modern literature, classical literature, traditional literature, children's literature, and literary literacy, with their respective subgenres, including regional, local, national, as well as international literature. Various approaches, ranging from structuralism, intertextual analysis, deconstruction, feminism, ecocriticism, ecofeminism, postcolonialism, and others, such as new historicism and literary theory development, are welcome. Research may also cover various films, especially those adapted from novels, comics, and animated films, as well as songs and nursery rhymes in children's literature.
