The Influence of Environment and Occupational Safety on Work Productivity in Metal Fabrication Practices

The research aims to determine the influence of the work environment on work productivity as well as the influence of occupational health and safety on the work productivity of class XI metal fabrication and manufacturing engineering students at SMK N 2 Klaten. The type of research used is ex-post facto. The population in this study was 70 students and the sample in this study was 60 class XI students majoring in metal fabrication and manufacturing engineering. Using data collection techniques, namely questionnaires and documentation, and data analysis techniques in the form of simple and multiple regression analysis. The results of this research produced significant results by the work environment on work productivity with a calculated r value of 0.900, there was a significant and significant influence by the occupational health and safety variables on work productivity with a calculated r of 0.902 and there was a significant and significant influence of the environment, occupational health and safety simultaneously on work productivity with a calculated r value of 0.920. The resulting Y regression equation is Y=22.380 + 0.339X1 + 0.323X2.
