Students' emotional intelligence plays an important role in achieving learning achievement. Technical drawing teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Wonosari revealed that there are some students who are less able to control their emotions during the learning process. Students tend to complain quickly and do not pay close attention to lessons, give up quickly when given drawing assignments that are more difficult than usual, find reasons not to do assignments, disturb their deskmates during lessons, and are often late in submitting assignments. This study aims to reveal the effect of emotional intelligence on technical drawing learning achievement. This study is an inferential quantitative study. The population of the study was students of class X of Mechanical Engineering at SMK Negeri 2 Wonosari. The sampling technique used the saturated sampling method or total sampling. The analysis method used in this study is simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on the technical drawing learning achievement of class X students at SMK Negeri 2 Wonosari with a coefficient of determination (r^2) of 0.221.
