Job Readiness of Grade XII Students of Metal Fabrication and Manufacturing Engineering of SMK Negeri 2 Depok Sleman

Vocational High School is one of the educational institutions that produces graduates who are ready to work in certain fields. Work readiness is determined by 2 aspects, namely competence and motivation. This study aims to reveal the work readiness of students at SMK Negeri 2 Depok Sleman in facing job competition. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The subject of this study used a population consisting of 69 students of class XII grade Competence in Metal Fabrication and Manufacture Engineering (TFLM).The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The data obtained is then analyzed. The result of this study reveal that the work readiness of class XII student, metal fabrication and manufacturing engineering expertise competence in terms of metal fabrication engineering competence is in the ready category, while the work readiness of class XII student, metal fabrication and manufacturing engineering skills competence, in terms of student motivation is in the very ready category.
