This study aimed to: (1) develop an E-book product on innovations in haircut designs, Sin Butterfly, Sin Rebel, and Sin Laybob to support hairdresser competency, and (2) determine the feasibility level of the E-book on innovations in haircut designs, Sin Butterfly, Sin Rebel, and Sin Laybob to support hairdresser competency. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D model encompassing: define stage (problem and needs analysis), design stage (concept planning, E-book draft compilation, and moodboard creation), develop stage (product development), and disseminate stage (dissemination). Feasibility testing was conducted by material and media experts through instrument validation, and user testing was performed with 30 panelists, comprising Makeup and Beauty students and beginner hairdressers. The study was conducted in Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta, from June 2025 to February 2026 using descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The findings showed that: (1) the final product, an E-book on innovations in haircut designs Sin Butterfly, Sin Rebel, and Sin Laybob to support hairdresser competency, was developed due to the many Makeup students, vocational high school Beauty students, and beginner hairdressers who had not optimally understood the work steps of innovative haircut designs, as well as the limited learning references that discussed those techniques systematically, applicatively, and in accordance with needs. (2) The feasibility of the E-book product, based on material experts' assessment, obtained an average score of 96.25% in the very feasible category, media experts' validation obtained an average score of 97.26% in the very feasible category, and user testing obtained a score of 95.03% in the very feasible category. Thus, the developed E-book was deemed highly feasible as a learning and practice reference to support improvement in the competency of beginner hairdressers in applying innovative haircut design techniques.
