The manuscripts should be original works, either as research studies or reference studies, that have never been published in any form of publication.
  2. Manuscripts accepted must be written in standard English and follow the TEMPLATE [DOWNLOAD].
  3. The manuscript must be in *.doc or *.rtf format and submitted via the journal system through online submission by creating an account in this Open Journal System (OJS). [Click REGISTER if you do not have an account yet, or click LOG IN if you already have one.]
  4. All Author(s)' names and identities must be fully embedded in the form filled in by the corresponding author: email; affiliation; and each author's short biography (in the 'Bio Statement' column). [If the manuscript is written by two or more authors, please click 'Add Author' in the 3rd step of 'ENTER METADATA' during the submission process and then enter each author's data.]
  5. The authors' biography (in the column of Bio Statement) must be written in the form of narration, including the author's full name, place and date of birth, educational qualifications/information, the affiliation in which the author is currently working, phone number, and email address.

Structure of the manuscripts:

  1. Title. The title should be clear and informative, and not more than 15 words.
  2. Author's names and institutions. The authors' names should be accompanied by their institutions and email addresses, without any academic title. For joint papers, one of the authors should be designated as the corresponding author.
  3. Abstract, keywords, and MRBM classification numbers. The abstract consists of 150-250 words written in a single paragraph. It should be clear, informative, descriptive, and provide a statement of the problem, the proposed approach or solution, and highlight major findings and conclusions. The keywords should be 3 to 5 words or phrases. Please provide at least one relevant classification number that suits your manuscript.
  4. Introduction. This section explains the background of the study, a review of previous research in the area, and the aims of the manuscript. Importantly, it should also demonstrate the significance and novelty of the research.
  5. Methods. This section describes the appropriate tools of analysis along with the data and their sources.
  6. Results and Discussion. This section explains the results of the study. It should be presented clearly and concisely. Author(s) should highlight the novelty or the contribution of the work to the field of beauty science and applied cosmetology.
  7. Conclusion. This section concludes and provides practical implications, if any, of the study. The conclusions should align with those discussed in the manuscript's body.
  8. References. This section lists only the papers, books, or other types of publications referred to in the manuscript. References should consist of at least 15 of the most pertinent and up-to-date sources. 60% of the references (at least 16) must be from reputable international journals published within the last 5 years. It is highly recommended that the references be written using citation software & reference management applications (Mendeley).
