Prototype of Automatic Early Fire Monitoring and Detection System on Filling Shed Rail Tank Wagon Facilities Based on the Internet of Things

The objectives of this study are: (1) to design and build a prototype tool for an early detection system for fires on filling shed rail tank wagon facilities based on the internet of things; (2) to conduct functional tests on each component of the tool to build a prototype tool for an early detection system for fires on filling shed rail tank wagon facilities based on the internet of things; (3) to conduct performance tests on the prototype tools for an early detection system for fires on filling shed rail tank wagon facilities based on the internet of things. This research method uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with stages, namely conducting direct observations in the field to analyze material requirements and reviewing several literatures to find solutions to problems, designing and planning tools, until the last is the tool testing stage. The results of the research that has been carried out are 1) the prototype for an automatic early detection system for fires on filling shed rail tank wagon facilities has been successfully made, 2) the results of the function test of each component have been carried out with the results that each component can function properly according to the working principles of each component, 3) the results of the performance test of the tool that has been made indicate that the system has worked well as expected, namely being able to monitor and detect early fires automatically and effectively using the telegram application
