The use of e-learning in science learning has become a crucial need in the digital era and the Independent Curriculum, especially in presenting abstract concepts such as temperature and heat. However, most e-learning used in schools is still passive, in the form of text or video materials without interactivity, thus it has not successfully promoted students’ critical thinking. This study develops PBL-based science e-learning using Lumi Education (H5P) to enhance junior high school students’ critical thinking skills. This research uses the ADDIE model but only up to the third stage, namely the development stage. The research subjects involved two expert validators, as well as science teachers and seventh-grade junior high school students for the practicality test. The validation results indicated average scores of 3.54 for the material aspect (very valid), 3.45 for the pedagogical aspect (valid), and 3.53 for the media aspect (very valid). The practicality test showed that teachers gave an average score of 98.34 (very practical), while students gave a score of 83.75 (very practical). These findings indicate that science e-learning with PBL-based case studies using Lumi Education is feasible, practical, and capable of providing a learning experience that encourages analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving. Interactive content in the form of interactive videos, digital books, concept simulations, HOTS quizzes, and digital student worksheets (LKPD) has been shown to increase student enthusiasm and active engagement. Overall, this e-learning serves as a useful learning resource that supports the development of students’ critical thinking skills in the topic of temperature and heat
